Observatory

Observatory

Commercial property series for Friuli Venezia Giulia, set side by side, each with its source, its date and its licence.

OMI edition 2025/2

These are the figures we use ourselves when we discuss a hotel, an entire building, a shop or an industrial building in the region: each one with the source it comes from, the day we read it and the perimeter it measures.

These figures are published in different places: public offices, regional open data, consultancy reports. Here they sit side by side, and for each one we also say what it does not measure. National transaction statistics, for example, do not count sales in Trieste and Gorizia: a separate page explains why.

No figure is typed in by hand: every value is read from its source file and carries the initials of its publisher beside it. Where a figure is our own calculation, we say so and give the formula. Where two sources disagree, we show both.

How to cite us

You are welcome to cite this, with the source: “TriesteBusiness, Observatory, name of the series, date, based on data from the original source”. The original source must always be named next to ours.

Every table whose source licence allows it can be downloaded as two CSV files: one for Excel set to Italian (semicolons, decimal comma) and one in international format. OMI quotations remain tables only until the licence to redistribute them has been clarified.

Drafted with AI assistance: the figures are read from the source files, and the texts are checked against the sources before they are published.

You can write to us in English or Italian, and we reply in either.
